Gemstone & Crystal Wands

Many gemstone/crystal wands exist, basically they are just an elongated crystal or a shaped crystal/gemstone around 6cm or more in length. They come in many colours and shapes. But even a small gemstone in its pebble form can be used for the exercises below, especially if one end has a bit of a point to it.

Protection

To protect yourself during a spell or ritual or even for a brief meditation or a rest you need to take the wand and draw a circle around you at arms length. You point the tip of the wand at the place you wish the circle to end and if circling a large area just point the wand tip at the furthest point you want the circle to start. This method can be used to protect a whole house by you standing in any room and pointing the wand to form a full circle around you house, this method needs you to use your imagination as you will not be able to see your whole house, but your imagination will push your wands energy to any point you wish. While drawing the circle repeat the following words “bless this space”.

Healing

If you want to send healing energy for a disease or problem on the outside of your body (skin, eyes etc) then you should find a position to relax in and place the wand tip on this body area or gently rub/massage the area with the tip in a way that feels pleasant. As you do this imagine a clear white energy emanating from the tip and seeping into your body. You need to imagine this light but in reality the energy is there, only hard to see. Now as you imagine this light, see it helping to alleviate your problem, see the problem clearing up and your skin, hair, eye etc becoming healthy and strong as you want them to be. If trying to clear scars see them disappear under the wands energy, spend at least ten minutes per session with the wand visualising this.

For working on internal problems of the body you need to place the wand tip over the body part or for a disease or virus you need to run the tip around your body either touching your skin or an inch away from it where your aura is. As you place the tip or move it around your body see a powerful beam of white light cover your whole body for diseases and viruses or for a specific problem such as a dysfunctional body parts or cancer see the light pierce this organ and begin to regenerate and heal it. For cancer see the cells as dark grey and unfriendly parts of you and see the white wand light cut into this and transmute the cells into healthy white ones.

Fire Purification

For longevity and purification you can also use the wand in fire healing. For this you need to sit no more than five feet away from a flame (candle flame or fire) and point the tip of the wand towards the flame but not enough to burn it in any way. Now with your imagination see the flames merge with the wands tip, see this energy then run down the wand and into yourself. This fire is the most pure element on earth and can burn away disease and aid longevity. Following this exercise daily will open and cleanse all your charkas and help to prolong and enhance life force.

Wishing

Point the wand at the full moon and say “Selene, goddess of the moon,” and then state you wish briefly. Now hold the wand in front of you so your lips touch its tip and whisper “thank you Selene”. Then repeat seven times, taking as much time as you wish.

If you cannot see the moon, then alternatively you can stand upright, draw a circle around yourself with the wand and then hold the wand high above your head and say “let the universe understand and grant my wish” then state briefly the wish and move the wand tip to your lips saying “thank you” and repeat seven times.

Channelling

Find a comfortable place to sit, use any incense, oils, music that you find inspirational or uplifting to attract a specific spirit or deity. Then take the wand between the palms of both hands, holding the tip upwards and resting the base on your stomach/lap. When this feels comfortable close your eyes and whisper “please (add name of deity/spirit), use this wand, my instrument of power to channel your thoughts and energy into me”. If no specific entity is wanted for contact then say “beings of purity, let this wand be a means of you contacting me.” Then go silent and listen to you thoughts. Look for anything, words or energy or smells that come to you and then attempt verbal communication and wait for an answer or signal to be left in your mind. Some people receive words or sentences, others get images, sensations or smells that suggest contact has been made.

Wand Care

After finishing with your wand for the day, you can purify it and release any stored energy by blowing down the wand from its base three times (have tip pointing downwards). Alternatively you can run the wand through a purification incense such as sandalwood or rosemary. Wands should be stored in a dark place or protective wrapping and try not to let others touch it (if so purify it later).
