To experience the world of nature spirits and elementals, the very best stone is a green one. After completing the Universal Meditation, take this stone/crystal in one hand, close your eyes and imagine a dark green energy and light emerging from the stone and see this like mist lifting into the atmosphere and covering you and your environment. Let this continue until your room is filled with green light, then open your eyes, keep hold of the stone and move to a window or walk outside. Now look at everything in more detail than you normally would. You are looking for something a bit different, you are looking for nature spirits or elementals. Nature spirits will not likely be little green men with hats and jackets. They are more likely to be energy patterns that look like distortions in space. You may eventually see these as figures, but not at the beginning. Look at buildings, look at the base of trees. You may also see elementals which are made from either fire, water, air or earth. So by looking at one of these four elements you should begin to see forms or something that is not quite right flickering in a flame or as a picture in the earth, sky or in running water. Check streams and other hidden places for these. The stone in your hand will help you see them.

Faery World

Follow the universal meditation and then take a gemstone or crystal and go out into a wild place, either a park, grass area or moors. Or, if you are lucky enough to live near an earth energy point or ancient site go there. With the Amethyst in your hand just walk about looking for distortions or areas that seem unnatural. The faery world borders ours and can sometimes simply appear as a part of our world that seems quite normal. But upon visiting that area again you may find that the landscape has changed slightly which would suggest faery workings. The gemstone/crystal helps to lift the veil between worlds ever so slightly and you need to watch for strange changes in the environment which may show glimpses of this world.
